“Many Thanks Gift Shop in Mauchline has spoken of the pressure on small businesses during coronavirus, but says the shop is looking forward to brighter things in 2021.

Carol Speir at Many Thanks says that despite some changes to the gift shop in recent weeks, and the overall difficulties faced by independent retailers following the pandemic, the store continues to go from strength to strength – supporting other local businesses as much as possible and championing quality Scottish produce.

Earlier this month, Many Thanks closed its coffee shop and moved next door to 3 The Cross, making way for The Mossgiel Snug, the new venture of those at Mossgiel Farm as reported in the Chronicle last week.”
