Our Scottish Gift Shop at Many Thanks

I’m Carol Speir, the owner of Many Thanks along with my Husband, Robert. Welcome to our website! Having grown up in Ayrshire (in Robert Burns Country nonetheless) and with a love for everything Scottish, I had an idea in 2003. I wanted to start a business offering gifts, jewellery, home accessories and much more with a mission statement of:

95% of our gifts must be made in Scotland

Since then we have fulfilled our promise and to this day 95% of our suppliers are local or Scottish based businesses providing a wide range of gifts many of which are unique, handmade, traditional and make excellent gifts for friends and family as well as great gifts to send back home if you are visiting Scotland on your travels.

In 2014 we expanded the business to include a Coffee Shop, Art Gallery and Craft Classes. In 2020 we continue to showcase our wonderful local artists and provide various uplifting craft classes. Our Coffee Shop hosts Coffee Mornings, however prior booking is required as the Coffee Shop is no longer a walk in service in 2020.

We run evening Supper Nights throughout the year too including our Burns Supper to pay homage to our local bard who put Ayrshire on the map, celebrated by people throughout the world.

We look forward to seeing you when you pop in to Many Thanks to browse our wide range of products for that perfect gift!

Popped in this morning for coffee and it is a gorgeous gift and coffee shop with the loveliest owner -definitely worth a visit!!

Beautiful gift ideas, lovely home baking and always a warm welcome and a good laugh to be had! Love seeing the paintings by different artists, and the craft classes have something for everyone. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I think it creates a wonderful atmosphere of welcome, and a place for those of us who need to express our creativity as a way of healing.

Well what a wee gem Many Thanks is. From the second you step through the door the warmth of the welcome hits you straight in the heart! The gift shop has lots of lovely individual and unique items, something for everyone. Carol treats everyone like a long lost friend and has a smile and a giggle to share. It’s family run and although it must be very hard work at times their passion is clear to see. The cafe is very clean and well laid out with inspirational quotes on all of the tables. Well worth a visit!

Many Thanks is a beautifully thought out gift shop where you will not be able to leave empty-handed! Carol and her family greet you with a very warm welcome and the time will go by very quickly. We enjoyed our first visit here today and it certainly won’t be the last!
